Originally founded in 2003 by Brenda May Curtis as a peaceful retirement passion project, our magical little haven quickly transformed—through love, dedication, and word-of-mouth—into a trusted second home for countless Cape Town pups.
After 20 beautiful years of caring for fur babies, Brenda retired in 2022 and passed her legacy onto Janine and Darren, who returned from the UK to continue the Fairy Dog Mother story. While the transition brought its challenges, including saying goodbye to long-time senior pups, our family business has since grown into a thriving haven that dogs adore.
Today, The Fairy Dog Mother is a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where fur babies enjoy their day with friends, explore our home and garden freely, and experience comfort and care at every turn.
